We are happy to announce there are 34 Angel Eye Camera Systems in the Rady Children’s Hospital NICU.

Those Angel Eye Cameras are up and running and we are all grateful for your donations.

The cameras on each individual bed allows families to watch their baby in real time.

There is also a one way speaker for your baby to hear your voice.

We are in need of 26 more cameras for the Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego NICU.

Please help these families by making a donation.

100% of your tax-deductible donation is used to help purchase these cameras.

     COVID-19 and the NICU

One Partner In Care (PIC) is allowed to be with the baby in the NICU. Visitors are screened for symptoms prior to entering. There is a total of 60 NICU beds at Rady’s Children’s Hospital San Diego and waiting rooms are closed so you are unable to join your PIC at the hospital.

This is a stressful situation and can only be helped by providing cameras for ALL 60 beds.

Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego Voted Best Children’s Hospital.

Our check from last year, 2019, which was placed specifically for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit cameras was the first check into that account and Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego was then able to start the processes of getting these cameras. We are grateful for all of you!

Quick Answers

Who does my donation support?

We are currently partnered with Rady Childrens Hospital San Diego. By supporting us with a donation, you directly give to the financing of Angel Eye cameras in the Rady Children Hospital San Diego.

What does my donation support?

This year our goal is to raise funds to purchase Angel Eye Camera Systems. These camera systems allow families and friends to log on to a secure portal to view their baby 24/7, in real time, when they are unable to be at the hospital.

Are there different level of care in the NICU?

Level 1  Well baby Nursery

Level  2  or specialty care nurseries, in addition to providing basic care, can provide care to infants who are moderately ill with problems that are expected to resolve rapidly.

Level 3 NICU is a neonatal intensive care unit that is capable of caring for very small or very sick newborn babies.

Level 4 NICU provided the highest level, the most acute care. These nurseries are located in a hospital that can provide surgical repair of complex congenital or acquired conditions.
